Strong Config Support
All the router OS licenses of MirkoTik have been designed with the end users in mind, so for any IT administrator of an enterprise or even a moderately experienced PC user, an upgrade is convenient. Nevertheless the brand actually includes 30 days of full configuration support. Your L5, which is also a wireless Internet service provider, can be upgraded to version 7. You simply need to e-mail the team for customer or technical support.
Multiple Functions
The MikroTik RouterOS Level 5 can function as a wireless access point so you can broadcast Internet signals in longer distances or as wireless client and bridge so you can create multiple LAN or OS software setups and networks. The OS also supports various protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and RIP, allowing you to create multiple, diverse, and more efficient exterior and interior routing schemes.
The various network connections are further enhanced by the addition of 500 potential EoIP, PPPoE, PPTP, and L2TP tunnels, as well as unlimited OVPN tunnels. The router OS also introduces unlimited VLAN interfaces.
Full Security and Control
With the MikroTik RouterOS Level 5, you can set up hotspot active users up to 200 and unlimited KVM guests. Active sessions for user management are set to 50. If you want stronger privacy, you can activate the web proxy, regulate queues, and create P2P firewalls.
